Why continue to let prescription eyewear give you the improved vision you need when you can have it done on a permanent basis with LASIK surgery here at Palisade Eye? With a success rate of over 90%, taking only a few minutes per eye, and without blades, sutures, or bandages, it almost doesn't seem like surgery at all. The results, however, are impressive.
Our
Weehawken LASIK is performed under local anesthesia, administered in simple eye drop form. From start to finish, the procedure is free of pain. A small piece of corneal tissue is opened using laser technology. The flap is peeled back and our eye doctor proceeds to reshape your cornea. The flap is then restored and sealed. It's really that easy. It is your cornea that is the reason for nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. When it is not shaped as it should be, instead of directing incoming light to your retina at or very close to the center, as is the case with normal vision, it is either sending it toward the back, or the front, or refracting the light unevenly. If you are nearsighted, farsighted, and have astigmatism all at once, then the problem is even more of an issue. But not after you have had our Weehawken LASIK. Improved vision is usually noticed by the next day, or maybe even later the same day as surgery. You'll need prescription lenses a lot less, and you may be able to discard them entirely. And even more good news: the procedure can be updated, even years later, to account for changes to your vision.
In order to find out if you're a good candidate for our
Weehawken LASIK, simply set up an appointment for a consultation and examination by calling our office now. There's no reason you have to settle for any less than optimal vision.
